Lots of food on the table! 「たくさん料理があります！」

Xin Nian Kwai Le! Happy the Dragon Year!!
Everywhere here in Bangkok was so full of red color today...lanterns, billboards, and also people's clothing. Everyone was wearing all red for today, looks so bright and energetic! I'm not wearing red, but I went visiting my parent's house for gathering meal, and pay homage to my ancestors. It's a lively event for once in a year, people came in, brought good food, and have meal together...full of happiness.
The day before, when I finished my work at night, I went to 'Som-tam' stall near office. Som-tam, or Thai papaya salad is actually Thai north-eastern local food, but every Thai people love it, so it was spreaded all over this kingdom. Some even says this dish is 'Thai national dish.' I completely agree!
There were many north-eastern foods in my menu lists.
Som-Tam (Thai papaya salad) :: sweet and sour taste
Tom-Seab (spicy hot pork soup) :: sour and hot
Seu-Rong-Haii (chilli grilled pork) :: hot and sweet (full of meat flavour)
Larb-Moo (roasted rice seasoning pork salad) :: spicy and hot
Not every dishes was too hot. I'm Thai who cannot eat too spicy food too. The best of Som-Tam stall is sticky rice, I'm so fond of sticky rice haha. Next time you order Som-Tam, don't forget to order sticky rice! :)
